Lula’s Birthday Weekend We walked to Meggenhorn with Gabi on Saturday – about 18 kilometers. Sunday we hiked to Kriens and then returned to Luzern and bought a Dunkin’ Doughnut for Lula’s birthday cake. About 25 kilometers. Girl deserves a birthday doughtnut. Can’t imagine my life without Lula. I am so grateful that I have had 2.5 years with her and hoping she has many more years ahead. Fab yoga class Saturday morning, successful suit shopping for Wataru’s wedding in Japan in June. It was amazing to climb Masada at sunrise – seven years after his passing. Magical and good for the soul. + I love Tel Aviv. It was fun hanging out with Lori, we went to Shabbat services at Beit Daniel, ate watermelo & drank white wine on the beach, walked, shopped and ate salatim. Zaven and I were in Serole for the long weekend. The weather was perfect. Work. Pool time. Hikes. Food, wine and fires. Serole, Italy | 7-10 April 2023Our Sunday hike. Cava, strawberries and views 9 April 2023 WOWLula doesn’t like rose’ The pool is the only thing that is pretty much done and we do enjoy stealing a few relaxing moments pool side. We are progressing. Thanks mostly to Joe. His hardwork -manual labor and ability and wrangling the contractors. Zaven and I pitched in in our limited capacity and but stones around the rosemary plants. The landscapers planted the rosemary, lavender and installed the sprinklers. They are coming back to plant the grass, put up the tall shrubs, wisteria and grapevines. Marble ordered for island, counter and stone for balconies and shelves. Pool guy measure the pool to customize the covers. The wall builders came and built walls behind and at the pool end, finished the steps and built a small stone sidewalk in front of the pool. It’s on and on.
