Villa Leonetti

Welcome to our beautifully restored retirement home nestled in the heart of the Langhe in Piemonte at the trifecta of Asti, Liguria and Cuneo provinces. The Langhe is a UNESCO hidden gem, one of the most gorgeous, diverse and not overly touristy areas of Italy. Famous for the most DOCG vineyards and home to Barolo, Barbera, Nebbiolo and Arneis to name a few.

Our Story

^{We have created a lovely home for our friends and family. Intentionally designed to be a place to gather and enjoy company but also quiet spaces for doing yoga, reading, gardening, puttering and solitude.}

The Villa

_{The last part of the house was built in the 1800’s, constructed from traditional langhe stone . We have renovated it with love and the intention to bring out the original natural and simplistic beauty. The villa includes four thoughtfully designed guest rooms, each with en suite bathrooms, private balconies and wood stoves. The house includes a spacious state of the art kitchen/cantina that boasts Miele appliances, two sinks and an over sized custom cararra marble island, perfect for gathering. The cantina opens to the formal living room with a cozy Pandero woodstove and custom made staircase that leads to the second floor bedrooms. The bedrooms are accessible via two staircases at either end of the villa. The ground floor also includes a powder room as well as foyer and study}

The Garden

^{We designed the house outside in. The garden was the first priority, with the concept of actually living and spending as much time as possible outdoors. The house has eight french doors that open to the stone terrace and garden. The garden includes everything we love; a salt water pool, outdoor fire circle, fruit trees, grape vines, lavender and rosemary hedges, vegetable and flower gardens. Our days include morning swims, yoga, gathering vegetables, flowers and a hike in the surrounding forests. Evening fires, croquet, star gazing and firefly watching. All the best places are nearby, the Riviera, Alba, Monviso and evening aperitivo just up the hill in Roccaverano.}
